I have been offered the opportunity to visit Le Meridien Jakarta, having previously experienced Le Meridien Jimbaran in Bali. While both locations showcase unique qualities, such as excellent service, delightful cuisine, and courteous staff, my initial perception of the hotel chain as exceptionally luxurious was met with a bit of disappointment. The accommodations seemed somewhat outdated, lacking modern touches and the expected opulence. Having had the privilege of staying in numerous exquisite hotels, my standards are quite high. Nonetheless, I am here to share my candid impressions.
Nevertheless, I genuinely enjoy my time at Le Meridien Jakarta. The decor seamlessly blends various cultural influences from countries like Java, Lebanon, Japan, and more. Despite the slightly outdated feel, the overall experience and service remain outstanding. Some staff members stand out for their impeccable manners and unique attire, representing the cultural theme of their respective areas, like the Lebanon restaurant. It’s a fascinating blend of diverse cultures. However, a few staff members may come across as busy and rushed, occasionally responding with a touch of sarcasm while still delivering service. The highlight, though, is the incredible food. I believe that a place offering opportunities for aesthetic pictures is truly worth visiting.
